Westminster: Behind the Mic is a live music and culture night at Area 51 (Harrow Campus) featuring an industry workshop/Q&A, a student talent showcase, and an open mic battles/freestyle segment — in collaboration with PenGame.
Westminster: Behind the Mic (ACS x PenGame) is an evening of music, creativity, and real industry insight at the University of Westminster’s Area 51.
The night is split into three parts:
1. Workshop + Q&A with Margs (No Behaviour Podcast / PenGame / Filthy Fellas) covering podcasting, platform-building, production, and how to build a sustainable career in the UK creative industries.
2. Student Talent Showcase — performers take the stage for short 2–3 minute slots (rap, R&B, spoken word and more).
3. Open Mic Battles / Freestyle Session — a structured, timed session supported by Margs and Smilez (PenGame).
Whether you’re coming to perform or just to watch and support, expect good energy, upcoming talent, and a proper London link-up.
