Look After Your Mate
This workshop, developed by Student Minds, will give you the necessary tips and tools to support a friend in need: spotting the signs that your friend is struggling, how to start a conversation and support them and when to signpost for further help – as well as looking after yourself in the process. The session will be hosted in person or online.
Please note that this training comes with a trigger warning, as it explores sensitive issues in the context of mental health. If at any point during the training you feel uncomfortable you can privately message or reach out to one of the trainers. They are all trained in supporting you along the programme.
If you have any accessibility needs or requirements, or any questions about the training, please email Giorgia at g.giagnotti@westminster.ac.uk
