You are invited by the Students’ Union to a tea party at our Regent Street Campus in the Hideaway. This event is for new international students who have just arrived at Westminster and provides an opportunity to enjoy delicious cakes and tea while mingling with fellow international students. You'll also have a chance to meet your student leaders & university staff who are here to support you throughout your time at Westminster. Plus, test your knowledge of British culture with our fun quiz! By then we hope that you will feel more settled and confident about the course you are about to start and the time you will be with us at the University of Westminster.

Ticketing helps us manage attendance numbers, ensure adequate resources, and provide a smoother entry process for everyone.
Often, with free events, we see a large number of ‘no shows’. This is when people get a ticket but don’t show up. To account for this, we “overbook” an event and give away more free tickets than we have space for.
Please note that having a ticket doesn't guarantee entry as we will operate a first-come, first-served policy. We recommend you arrive early to an event you don’t want to miss out on!
Regents Street is undergoing some maintenance work and the staircase to our venue is temporarily closed. But you can still access the Hideaway through the old gym. Ask reception if you are not sure!

- There is no car park for public use within 200m (approx).
- There are Blue Badge bay available near the building
- There is padded seating
- Tea & Cake are being served, allergen information will be avalible.

- Music on in space- can be turned down on request during the event.
- Quiet space available by request during the event.
For welcome, we do not allow external non-student guests. This is to allow students to make friends with other students; after welcome week, guests are welcome to attend most events.
